Abstract: There are opportunities to see and explore mathematics everywhere, and at every level. We'll discuss a game my kids and I created with M&Ms, and see some fascinating mathematics emerge (from memoryless processes to generalizations of Catalan numbers to hypergeometric functions to multi-dimensional extensions of the Fibonacci numbers).
