(October, 2015)   We have started a new PEPS-AMIES research project, supported by AMIES (Agency for Mathematics Interactions with Industry and Society).
The project concerns Mathematical and numerical models for phase-change materials used in industry

Our industrial partners in this project are Orange and AREELIS.

Duration of the project: November 2015 - October 2016.

 

(October, 2015)   We will participate to a new research project called M2NUM, supported by Région Haute-Normandie. Our theme in the project concerns Mathematical and numerical models for phase-change materials.

We are 10 researchers in this theme aimed at performing realistic simulations of phase-change materials based on mathematically sound models.

Duration of the project: October 2015 - September 2018.

 

(January, 2013)   We have started a brand new ANR project ("Numerical models" call) called BECASIM
Bose-Einstein Condensates: Advanced SIMulation Deterministic and Stochastic Computational Models, HPC Implementation, Simulation of Experiments

We are 25 enthusiastic applied mathematicians in this project aimed at performing realistic simulations of BEC in close interaction with physicists - for more details, see the dedicated web page BECASIM

Duration of the project: January 2013 - December 2016.

 

(November, 2012)   We have started a new Working Group called "Interfaces of Mathematics" (GTIM) aimed at promoting the collaborations between mathematiciens and scientists from other research fields (physics, mechanics, biology, etc) or from industry.

Nous avons lancé au LMRS un nouveau Groupe de travail, intitulé Interfaces des Mathematiques (GTIM), qui a comme objectif de mettre en contact les mathématiciens du LMRS avec d'autres communautés scientifiques et d'identifier des sujets de recherche d'intérêt commun.
